The Rapp Saloon

The Rapp Saloon of Santa Monica is an open mic to the creative souls of spoken word. For over 6 years, we've been running strong in the heart of downtown Santa Monica not far from the 3rd Street Promenade and the famous Santa Monica Pier. Right next door to the Buca di Beppa restaurant, each and every Friday night at 8pm, week in and week out, we have some of the finest poetry in the Southland. Come out Friday night and be a part of it!

Signups start as early as 8:00 pm and the readings begin at 8:30 pm, each and every Friday night. Visitors are always welcome. No cover. No age limits.

We welcome all subjects and forms of expression at the Rapp Saloon. As in all readings, please silence your cell-phones and pagers while attending the reading.
